Peter Martin has been a licensed engineer for over 30 years and is a third generation engineer practicing in Los Angeles. The Martin family has played an influential role in Southern California architecture. Among the Martin's significant commissions are downtown L.A.'s Million Dollar Theatre, Los Angeles City Hall, Arco Plaza, and Security Pacific Plaza.
The Los Angeles Department of Water & Power building, was designed in 1965 by J. E. Martin and A. C. Martin, Jr.
